	English UK is the world’s leading language teaching association with more than 400 members – all accredited by the British Council – including private language schools, educational trusts and charities and language centres in further education colleges and universities.
	The English Language Centre, Brighton & Hove is accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English as a foreign language. To obtain accreditation, the school must be inspected regularly and meet very strict criteria. The British Council last inspected and accredited ELC in June 2011.
	The English Language Centre is accredited by ISI (Independent School's Inspectorate) in order to have the necessary educational oversight to take students under Tier 4 of the Points-Based sytem. Together with its sister school, Eastbourne School of English, ELC was inspected in May 2012. The report stated that the schools 'exceed expectations' in all categories.
